Oisyo,

Today, we celebrate Indigenous Peoples’ Day – a day dedicated to honoring the rich histories, vibrant cultures and valuable contributions of Native people throughout our Nation.

At the Bureau of Indian Education, we aim to empower students to thrive and remain connected to their culture and heritage. Our students carry their ancestors’ legacies with immense pride and determination, inspiring us all to strive for excellence.

We also celebrate the educators, administrators and staff who create environments where Indigenous students can excel academically, culturally and personally. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to our students.

Wado and Happy Indigenous Peoples’ Day!
